Give directly from your IRA. For individuals age 73 and older, a Qualified Charibale Distribution (QCD) allows IRA owners to direct payments from their IRA straight to the Emergency Food Bank. This strategy can satisfy annual required minimum distributions (RMDs) while avoiding the taxable income typically associated with RMDs. Please consult your IRA adminstrator, tax advisor, or financial planner to see if a QCD is right for you.

Donating publicly traded stock can make a big impact and may offer favorable tax benefits.

Honor someone special with a meaningful tribute gift. The Emergency Food Bank Tree of Life, located in the Thomas F. Wilson Nutrition Education Center, offers a permanent way to be recognized. Have your name, or your family's or business's, displayed on a leaf, apple or monarch butterfly for all visitors to see.

  • Silver Leaf - $500
  • Gold Leaf - $750
  • Apple - $1,500
